What are Pavers?

Pavers are an incredibly popular material for outdoor hardscaping. They are usually made from clay, stone, brick and concrete. Pavers can be used in different ways, but the most common use for them is in driveways, pathways, and walkways.

Interlocking pavers are considered among the best choices for driveways and patios, and if installed properly can create a stronger driveway than poured concrete. And when it comes to rock garden ideas, permeable pavers are a solid choice. Once mixed with decorative rock and lawns, they tend to produce a truly unique look.

Paver Designs

Because of their diversity in colors, textures, shapes and sizes, Pavers have become very popular with homeowners across Brentwood. This means that the design possibilities are endless. Experts believe that this versatility is what has caused the sharp rise in demand for custom paver installations.

Paver stone types:

  • Flagstone
  • Cobblestones
  • Veneer Stone
  • Cut Stone

Advantages of Pavers

In terms of design choices, durability and strength, paver benefits outweigh concrete, asphalt or natural stone, but they must be installed 100% correctly.

• Highly customizable
• Very durable
• Minimal maintenance
• Easy to replace if damaged
• Add aesthetics & home value
• Non-slip outdoor flooring
• Reduces yard maintenance needs
• Eco-friendly
• Ready for immediate use after installation

Cleaning and Maintaining Pavers

Paving stones can be swept clean, but to remove dirt and discoloring, a good water scrubbing with a small amount of detergent will do the trick. If it has been a while since you last cleaned the pavers, pressure washing would be an option to consider.
